Cancellation & Late Arrival Policy

1. Booking & Deposit Confirmation

• Standard Reservations: To secure any appointment slot, a non-refundable 15% deposit (with a minimum requirement of $20) must be processed at the time of booking. This deposit is deducted from your final service cost on the day of your treatment.
• Prepayment Choice: Clients who choose to pay for their treatments 100% in full upfront at checkout are exempt from separate deposit metrics but remain strictly bound by the conditions below.

2. The Cancellation & Transfer Tiers

To ensure fairness to all clients and protect our studio's operational hours, we enforce the following tiers for cancellations or rescheduling:

Tier 1: Before 48 Hours

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made prior to 48 hours before your start time are fully protected. You are entitled to request a full refund or a full transfer to a new date.

Tier 2: 48 Hours to 12 Hours Before Appointment

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within this window are considered "Late Cancellations."
• Deposit Penalty: The 15% booking deposit is non-refundable.
• Transfer Rights: You are entitled to a full transfer of your deposit or prepaid balance to a future booking date.

Tier 3: Within 12 Hours (The "Danger Zone")

• Cancellations, modifications, or rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of your start time are considered "Short-Notice Cancellations."
• Deposit/Payment Penalty: The deposit amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Prepaid Balance: If you paid in full, the deposit portion is forfeited, but the remaining balance of your payment is safely preserved as a strict salon account credit toward a future visit.

3. No-Shows

If you completely miss your appointment without notice, the deposit/prepayment portion (15% or $20 minimum) is fully forfeited as a penalty for the vacancy created. For prepaid bookings, the remaining balance (excluding the forfeited deposit) will be issued as a salon account credit on your profile.

4. Late Arrivals & Notification Protocol

Please arrive promptly to ensure you receive the full luxury styling experience.

• Shortened Treatments (Up to 10 Minutes Late): If you are delayed up to 10 minutes, we will do our best to perform an accelerated treatment. Because your late arrival consumes the entirety of your reserved calendar block, shortened treatments are billed at 100% of the original price.
• The "Notice is a Courtesy" Rule: Messaging us to say you are "running late" is a courtesy. It does not override the fact that the reserved time block has been missed or that the service may no longer be viable.
• Automatic Cancellation (10+ Minutes Late): Arrivals delayed beyond 10 minutes cannot be safely performed without disrupting subsequent reservations. These sessions will be automatically cancelled and treated as a "No-Show," and the standard deposit forfeiture rules apply.

5. Enforcement & Administrative Discretion

Service fee handling, credit application, and enforcement metrics are managed manually by salon administration. Elixr Beauty reserves the sole, absolute right to enforce or waive parameters based on individual circumstances and administrative evaluation.
